About Me
In 2005, I was bartending at a small restaurant in Bergen County when a tall, young, beautiful man walked in. He had a girlfriend, but we had an immediate spark. Three years later, we ran into each other again and he asked me out to dinner. That was April 16, 2008, and we have been together ever since.
On November 2, 2012, we found out we were expecting a baby. A week and a half later, the doctor delivered the news that we were expecting twins. Six LONG months after that, we welcomed Jane and Emma into our world, and our lives have been forever changed.
I decided to write a blog because as I was going through my pregnancy, I could never find anything having to do with twins or multiples. There was no advice out there for registries for multiples, or pregnancy, or life after delivery. I felt extremely alone, and spent most of my pregnancy in a funk.
Today, I am the happiest I've ever been. I continue to improve my craft (teaching) through various professional development outlets, and I learn something new about being a mother every day. I am in love with my girls, with being a mama, with my husband, and with life.
I can be reached via email at leadingthedoublelife@gmail.com.
If you are interested in advertising, sponsorships, or hosting giveaways, please email me with information.
I will do my very best to respond to each and every email. If I do not respond within 24 hours, please try me again.
Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you!
